Company History
Founded in 2007 as a remodeling specialist by the current owner, originally provided bathtub installations and building additions. The Company now provides a premier services solution for renovation work, updating bathrooms and kitchens, or creating more living space for growing families via additions, finished basements, and/or outdoor living spaces.
Well Positioned for Future Revenue and Profit Growth
The Company does exclusively “in-town” work, no further south than Candler/Inman Park, north to Buckhead/Brookhaven, and east to Decatur, with a lot of work being done in the Virginia Highlands/Morningside/Ansley area. On occasion, have worked in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody/Smyrna but only on a referral from a previous client.
The homes in the target geography, because of their age and size, are prime for renovation work, whether it be updating bathrooms and kitchens, or creating more living space for growing families (via additions, finished basements, and/or outdoor living spaces).
Products and Services
Exterior facelifts to enhance curb appeal, basement and attic conversions, kitchen, bath, sunroom, porch and deck updating.
Unique Attributes
The client demographic of an intown homeowner can afford the cost of intown renovation and has the disposable income to upgrade to their home to better suit their needs. Many clients are parents of younger children who need more space (to accommodate a growing family) and/or want a fresher look to older home features (like bathrooms and kitchens) and have sufficient home equity available to fund their projects.
The Company takes a two-step approach to pricing, first giving clients a “ballpark” price for their project (based on a simple unit-costing approach) and then, upon receipt of a retainer, an on-site meeting with our team and trade contractors results in a fixed-price job estimate. This greatly reduces the amount of time spent with clients who are either “kicking tires” or have a budget that’s lower than the final bid price.
People
Each project engages both a Field Superintendent (who manages the trades when on-site) AND a Project Coordinator, who is the clients’ main communication link and manages all client-related administrative activities (i.e., email/text/phone communication, trade scheduling, project schedules, payment schedules, etc.). Currently the Company has five employees including the owner, office manager, sales and service coordinator, field superintendent, and project coordinator.
